We want you to have a low-stress and pleasant experience during your projects. Here is what you can expect from Old Fashioned American Painting Co.

A TIMELY CALLBACK AND VISIT:

When I was starting out, I remembered how often I heard people say that contractors never got back to them. I saw this as an opportunity to separate myself from others. We will always return your calls or emails within one business day and aim to visit within that same workweek or whenever is most convenient for you.

WALKTHROUGH:

At the walkthrough, we will discuss your intentions, options to achieve them, and the products available for the best outcome. Together, we will clarify and set expectations for workmanship, process, and timeline. These expectations will be reiterated in detail in a written proposal. References are happily provided.

WRITTEN PROPOSAL:

After reviewing project notes and pictures, we will outline a comprehensive proposal for your project. It will reiterate what was discussed and expand upon any details worth noting. This proposal will coincide with a drafted contract explaining the scope of work, labor to be performed, approximate start date, payment procedure, and project timeline and process. We are always very thorough and precise regarding our work, assuring an accurate financial assessment. 

CONTRACT ACCEPTANCE, DEPOSIT, AND START DATE ESTABLISHED:

Upon receipt of the signed contract, you will enter our schedule queue that coincides with our provided approximate start date. We are always very diligent about communicating well in advance when your project is getting to the top of our list to allow for any and all accommodations for both parties. We will work together to get the timing right.

DAILY OPERATIONS:

The crew and I arrive at 8 AM and will work till 4:30 PM or 5:00 PM. We will discuss the plan each morning and review progress at the end of each day. We are very diligent about communicating and collaborating as the project unfolds. We will address any concerns or requests as needed daily. Oftentimes, we will need to work in multiple areas, avoid the sun, or work in a particular order/system to be efficient. Still, we also want to be unobtrusive and considerate of your experience at your home. You may have some yard work to do alongside us!

NOTICE OF PROJECT COMPLETION/FINAL WALKTHROUGH:

Approximately two days in advance, we will announce that we are nearing completion and ask you to provide us with anything you may consider unaddressed or inadequate. Although we are confident we will handle these items in our daily operations, we find it very important that you have the opportunity to provide our final "punch list" before the final walkthrough to see that list completed before final payment.

We always ask for what you consider outstanding and any details that could be improved. Reviews can be submitted here on our site. As word-of-mouth referral is extremely important to our small business, we do sincerely request that if anything exists providing dissatisfaction in any way, you, please feel open to express it while the project is ongoing so that we have the opportunity to reconcile any such occurrence.
